USF Lands 8th Commitment of the 2013 Class

Coach Holtz has been on a roll the last 48 hours gaining 4 new commitments.

From Big County Preps - The Bulls continue to add to their 2013 recruiting class as OT/DL Bruce Hector (6-3 260-pounds) out of Robinson HS (Tampa, FL) committed to the Bulls after receiving a verbal offer that a standout performance at the SuperBull last Saturday.

Hector (rated a 2-star prospect by Rivals) is considered a top offensive lineman, but the Bulls are recruiting him for the defensive line at the tackle position (BCP).  Hector will be a key addition to the USF defensive line that will have some need in depth with Cory Grissom graduating after this season and the youth on the roster.

Hector had offers from FAU, Tennessee State, Bowling Green, Ball State, and Akron including a verbal offer from UCF.

Hector is the 8th commitment for the Bulls in the 2013 recruiting class so far.
