USF Lands Two More Commits for the 2013 Class

From Greg Auman - After landing 3-star running back JoJo Kemp yesterday following the SuperBull, the Bulls landed two defensive backs for the 2013 class, raising the number of commits to 7.

The first to land was 3-star cornerback Darius Whitty out of Jacksonville, Florida (First Coast HS).  The 6-1 170-pound defender is a 3-star recruit (according to Rivals) and was being recruited by WVU, Mississippi, and Kentucky by others.  Whitty is a tall, fast defender that has a track background that will help him at the collegiate level.  According to Auman, the Bulls coaching staff they would be taking 3 corners in this class, leaving room for Vernon Hargreaves (fingers still crossed).

The other defensive back is Johnny Ward out of Moultrie, Georgia (Colquitt County HS).  The 6-0 165-pound defensive back is a sleeper at this stage and the Bulls were his first BCS offer.  With his length and size, it wouldn't take long for other programs to begin recruiting him, but the Bulls pulled the trigger to land him.

Welcome to all the new USF Bulls!
