USF MBB Lands 3rd commit of the 2013 Class

Basketball recruiting news in July?  Sure why not.  Scout.com reported tonight that prep point guard Major Canady (6-3 205-pounds) has committed to Stan Heath and the Bulls for the 2013 class.  

Canady (rated a 2-star prospect by ESPN) out of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania (Kiski School) brings a big frame to the game at the point guard position.  At 6-3, he is very tall for the point guard position, but deceptive speed and can attack the rim.  He will be a huge addition to the roster in 2013 to a team that will be looking to add depth at point guard behind Anthony Collins. 

Canady is the third verbal commit for the 2013 class joining Drew Davis and John Egbunu in the class.  Welcome to the USF family Canady!
