2011 stats: Ciabatti joined the team as a walk last season and redshirted.
Position on the depth chart: Ciabatti appeared as the starting punter coming out of the spring practices and appears to be the man to beat.
2012 projection: For the last two years, USF has been inconsistent in the punting game with JBK leading the unit. Ciabatti and a strong leg and has won the job over coming out of the spring and appears to be the guy to beat in the fall. Unless something happens or another kicker emerges ahead of him, look for Ciabatti to be the punter in 2012.
