USF Adds Transfer Kicker

Coach Holtz and staff will have a new player on the roster when classes start in August.
From Greg Auman - Football never sleeps and the Bulls added a new player to the roster, kicker Michael Hill, from Oklahoma.  Hill is transferring after one season with the Sooners where he was a preferred walk-on.

The 5-10 175-pound Hill was named 2010 All Sun Coast team after a tremendous career at Tarpon Springs High School.  He went to Oklahoma, but decided he wanted to be closer to home and after talking to Coach Hargreaves, he decided to walk-on.  He will join the team on the first day of classes and will have to sit out the season due to the transfer rules (will have 3 years left after that).

This is a great addition to the team.  While it is not a big flashy transfer like Aaron Lynch, it does help fill a need position the Bulls will have entering next season.  With Maikon Bonani graduating, the team will need to find the kicker of the future and with Hill on the roster, they could have their man.  He will battle with Marvin Kloss (should get a few field goal attempts this season we would think) and with Chris Veron for the place kicker duties, giving the Bulls options and creating competition.  Welcome to the team Hill!
