#2 - Sterling Griffin - 6-0 194-pounds - RS Junior - WR - Opa Locka, FL (Miami Monsignor Pace HS)
2011 stats: Griffin played in 8 games last season, making 7 starts. He missed 4 games due to an ankle injury. He led the team with 43 receptions for 530 yards (12.3 yards per reception) and 3 touchdowns.
Position on the depth chart: Griffin was listed as the number two wide receiver behind Andre Davis on the two-deep coming out of spring.
2012 projection: Being listed behind Davis coming out of the spring practices, Griffin is ready for a huge season as long as he can stay healthy and remain on the field. He is a quick receiver that can catch the ball and turn up field for big chunks of yardage. He has had some injuries over the past two season, but when healthy, he is one of the best receivers on the team. Look for him to put up career numbers and lead a talented offense this year.
