2011 stats: Lamar, moving to wide receiver last year, had 11 receptions for 157 yards (14.3 per reception) including 3 touchdowns and along reception of 54 yards. He carried the ball 17 times for 150 yards (8.8 per carry). He also returned 40 kick-offs for 871 yards (20.4 per return) including a long of 62 yards
Position on the depth chart: Lamar is listed as the number two running back on the depth chart coming out of the spring behind Murray.
2012 projection: Lamar, who moved to wide receiver, is back at running back this year, the position he is most comfortable at. Holtz has stated they need to get the ball in his hands more and allow him to create with his feet. Lamar is a track star and can do a lot of the backfield, giving the Bulls another weapon. Look for him to put up big numbers and continue to be a staple on the kick return side as well.
