The Bulls struck first with a goal by Sebastien Thuiere
after a double assist by Ben Sweat and Stiven Salinas to get the scoring
started. 10 minutes later, the Bulls
tacked on another goal by Brenton Griffiths assisted by Lucas Baldin and Samuel
Hosseini to put the Bulls up 2 to 0 going into the half.
The two sides exchanged fouls and played tough defense in
the second half until Jacksonville scored in the 77th minute against Dallas
Jaye (Eric Osswald got the start in the game) to pull the Dolphins within a
goal, but the USF defense tightened up and held the lead for good.
The Bulls will face the University of Tampa on Saturday
night at 7:30PM at Corbett as they look to continue the exhibition season off
well.
