USF Volleyball Takes on Bethune Cookman

Bring the noise!
The USF volleyball team gears up for their second game of the USF Tournament in the Corral.  After beating James Madison last night and improving to 5-5 on the year, the ladies are hoping to keep the momentum going in the second game.  This time they face Bethune-Cookman College who is 0-14 on the year (cannot lose this game).

BCC is led by senior outside hitter Krysta Gardner (5-7) who has 135 kills, 8 service aces, and 92 digs on the year.  Freshman outside hitter Delicia Pierre (6-2) has 93 kills and 23 digs on the season.  Sophomore setter Aubrianna Curtis (5-9) has 182 assists and 45 digs on the year.  Junior middle blocker Erica Cormier (5-7) has 19 kills and 33 blocks at the net.  Freshman libero Monica Lowe (5-3) has 105 assists and 45 digs to round out their starting lineup.
USF needs to take care of business against BCC, a team that is really struggling right now.  USF has a major height advantage at the net and needs to flex its’ muscle and get a strong home win under their belts.
