The USF ladies, after a huge come from behind win against the College of Charleston (thanks to Olivia Chance's two goals in the second half) take on Kennesaw State to end the Charleston Cup tournament.
Kennesaw State, 3-3-0, has a well rounded team that has several players that can strike on goal, let's take a look at what the Bulls are facing in this game (game begins at noon).
Kennesaw State is led by freshman midfielder Danielle Gray (5-8) who leads the team with 4 goals and has 2 assists on the season. Sophomore midfielder Katrina Frost (5-5) has 3 goals and 1 assist on the year. Sophomore midfielder Julia Nelson (5-4) has 2 goals. Junior defender Jewlli Strickland (5-7) has 2 assists. Junior midfielder Kelsey Barr (5-5) notched two goals in the last game, so out of all the balanced strikers for Kennesaw State, she is on fire and will aggressive with the front line as they try to put pressure on the Bulls. Christiane Endler and the backline for the Bulls will have to be at their best dealing with so many strikers.
In the net for Kennesaw State is senior Melissa Hutto (5-7) who has taken over for fellow senior Lauren Roberts. Hutto has only allowed 2 goals this season and has made 15 saves. The USF strikers, led by Passariello and red hot Olivia Chance, will need to turn up the heat and put pressure on Kennesaw. The Bulls will need to get the other strikers such as Stokes, Bala, and Patterson, going and add more weapons and keep the pressure on Kennesaw as they try to take the game and get a game over .500 to end the weekend.
