USF Women's Soccer Takes on Louisville

USF women’s soccer gets set to take on Big East foe Louisville (game begins at 1PM).  The Bulls, 6-4-1 (2-1-1), beat Cincinnati on Friday night and got the offense going.  The Cardinals, 7-3-1 (2-2-1) are coming off a loss to Marquette and will be a huge challenge for the Bulls to test how far this team has come this season and where they will go next.

The Cardinals are led by junior midfielder Angelike Uremovich who leads the Cardinals with 8 goals on the year and has 2 assists.  Junior forward Charlyn Corral has 3 goals and 6 assists, setting up teammates but also a threat to strike.  Sophomore midfielder Erin Yenney has 3 goals and 4 assists on the season.  Junior defender Katie Walz has 2 goals and 1 assist coming up from the backline. Sophomore defender Devyn Ciotti has 3 assists as well.  The Cardinals will be a real test for young goalkeeper Christiane Endler, who has done a great job in the net for the Bulls.

In net is senior goalkeeper Chloe Kiefer.  She has allowed 11 goals and has made 32 saves on the season.  USF was able to get a lot of people involved in their last game, scoring 4 goals, and moving the ball all over the court.  It will be important for the Bulls to continue to move the ball around and attack with multiple looks as the Bulls try to notch a huge conference win.
