USF Women's Soccer Takes on Providence

The USF ladies continue their Big East play on the road as they head to take on Seton Hall (game begins at 1PM).  USF 4-4-1 (0-1-1) lost a heart breaker to Rutgers, going to double overtime in the loss on Friday and they will be trying to shake it off and get a big win in this one.  Seton Hall, 6-5 (1-2), on the year will be a tough challenge.

Seton Hall is led by senior forward Stephanie Soma (5-8) who has 4 goals on the season and has added 1 assist.  Junior midfielder/defender Marie Klemme (5-4) who has 3 goals and 2 assists on the year.  Junior midfielder Ashley Clarke (5-5).  Junior midfielder Brittney Albrecht (5-2) has 2 goals and 6 assists and is the key to the center of their offense, getting everyone involved.  Junior midfielder Amie Ruhe (5-6) has 1 goal and 1 assist to round out their offense.  The Bulls play everyone tough on defense and with freshman goalkeeper Christiane Endler doing a great job in net, expect a low scoring affair here, but it's the Bulls offense that has to get it going.

In net is freshman Giana Maiorana (5-11).  She has allowed 13 goal this season and has made 16 saves.  The Bulls, who have been held scoreless in 3 straight games, should have an opportunity to break through and notch their first goal of Big East play.  The strikers, Passariello, Stokes, and others have to continue to be aggressive and find their way.  Their shots have to land eventually, right?
