USF Women's Soccer Beats UCONN

The USF women's soccer team got a goal late in regulation and held on against a furry of shots as they notched their first road win over UCONN in school history, winning 1 to 0.  The Bulls are now 7-4-2 (3-1-2) on the season after this impressive win.

The ladies were on the ropes for most of the game.  The Huskies out shot the Bulls 21 to 6 in this game, dictating the pace.  Yet, despite the shots, freshman goalkeeper Christiane Endler came up big with 7 saves, locking it down for the USF defense.  The goal for the Bulls came in the 85th minute off of a corner kick, Marsha Harper got the assist and Sarah Miller put it through for the Bulls to win it late.

After a few games and numerous ties, the Bulls were able to break through and notch a huge win against a tough team.  The Bulls will next face Providence on Sunday at 1PM.
