Bulls Fall Again on the Road to Syracuse

While everyone is out enjoying Gaspiralla today in Tampa, the USF ladies suffered a tough loss on the road to Syracuse, 78 to 57. The Bulls were never close in this one as the Orange defended home court and showed that USF is just not there yet as a competitive team against the powers of the Big East this year.

The Bulls shot 39% from the field and 57% from the free throw line, making points a rare occurrence. Andrea Smith once again led the way for the Bulls and was the only player in double figures. She had 23 points, shooting 50% from the field including 5-8 from 3-point range. Porsche Grant and Daleisha Carn each had 8 points. Leondra Doomes-Stephens had 6 points coming off of the bench.

The Bulls are now 10-12 and 1-7 in conference play. They have a week off to prepare for the 9th ranked Notre Dame squad that will be another tough test for the Bulls.
