From Greg Auman - The Bulls got a big time commitment from the weekend from wide receiver Andre Davis. The 6'1" 180-pound receiver from Jefferson High school declared on his facebook and text messages that he will be playing football for USF and is ready to get to work for the Bulls in the Big East.
Davis, a 3-star prospect according to Rivals.com and a 4-star recruit from Scout.com is a huge commitment for the Bulls as they look to add playmaking ability on the offense. Davis had offers from Arkansas, West Virginia, Texas Tech, among other. Davis is a slender receiver that runs great routes and has great hands, making him an ideal receiver down the field. He does not have the explosive burst off the line, but understands the position and will become a big time playmaker for the Bulls. He will probably redshirt this season but will become an instant star for the Bulls.
