The ladies basketball season is beginning to hit a rough patch now as they lost again last night to #16 DePaul, 77 to 61.
Andrea Smith led all USF scorers with 16 points and Doomes-Stephens had 8 rebounds. The Bulls shot well from the field, hitting over 50% in the first half, but the Blue Demons were just too much for USF to handle. DePaul simply had more weapons and played better on defense as the Bulls fell to 9-9 and 0-4 in conference play.
The ladies are back home on January 16th as they take on Marquette and try to get back to the winning ways. The game will be in the Sun Dome at 3:30 so everyone get out and support your school (game will also be on ESPNU).
