3 Bulls Enroll Early

Spring semester kicked off and 3 new football players stepped onto campus to attend class for the first time (from Greg Auman (www.Tampabay.com) and USF (www.gousfbulls.com)).

Quarterback Matt Floyd enrolled early this semester, attempting to get a head start on the competition. Floyd is a pro-style quarterback and hopes to add his name to the quarterback competition this season. He is a solid passer and can scramble, while he may end up redshirting this season, he could be a player to watch in the next few years.

Junior college linebacker Mike Juene is now officially enrolled as well. The hard hitting linebacker could be in line to start for at strong side for the Bulls come fall time. He will make a quick impact this season.

Antoine Pozniak, another linebacker, is enrolled as well. He is a very fast player and could make an impact on special teams early in his playing career.

It is great to see these recruit enrolling early, not only to get a head start in the football practices, but also for their future educations.

The Bulls have a huge recruiting weekend coming up on the 14th when 25 of the top Bull prospects are scheduled to come to USF. This could be a big point for the 2011 season as Holtz and staff try to add the final pieces to their first official recruit class. I will have more on the status of the current commits and the future plans for the USF recruiting Holtz seems to have for the program.
