Coach Fernandez suffered a tough loss today as they lost to Providence on the road, 57 to 64. The ladies led the first half, but a big time second half surge allowed the Friars to pull ahead and give the Bulls another crushing loss in conference play.
Andrea Smith led the way for the Bulls with 20 points while Daleisha Carn added 12 points. The Bulls were cold shooting from the field in the second half as they now fall to 9-8 (0-3).
The Bulls take on the Depaul Blue Demons on Tuesday night at Depaul at 9 PM. The Bulls find themselves near the bottom of the conference and need to get a key conference victory if they want to keep their postseason dreams alive.
