Bulls Blown Out at Georgetown

The ladies basketball season took another tough hit last night as the Bulls fell to the Hoyas, 38 to 67. It was the worst shooting night for the Bulls and the lowest offensive performance on the season. The Bulls shot just 23% from the field (14-59) and no 3-point shots.

Andrea Smith led all scorers with just 9 points (2-12 shooting). Daleisha Carn had 8 points and Andrell Smith had 6 points as the Bulls were bothered all night by the Georgetown 1-2-2 defense. This frustrated the USF offense and the shooters. The Bulls were never able to get any offense going as the fast pressure and sharp shooting for the Hoyas was simply too much to handle.

The Bulls get a few days off before heading to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers in another conference game. The Bulls are now 10-14 on the season (1-9 in conference play) and are hoping for a late season victory on the road to help turn the current momentum.
