Bulls Fall Again on the Road

The USF basketball season just keeps getting harder to watch. The Bulls lost again on the road for the 10th straight time, this time falling to Providence 68 to 63. The Bulls actually led at halftime, but the team was just not able to slow the Friars down and could not hit any clutch shots at the end of the game to get a win.

Jawanza Poland took over on offense, scoring 20 points (8-17 shooting), 4 assists but 4 turnovers. Augustus Gilchrist was cold from the field, scoring only 9 points (4-14 shooting) pulling down 9 rebounds but 5 turnovers. Crater had 6 points and 5 assists (0 turnovers), Robertson had 3 points and 11 rebounds, and Fitzpatrick had a nice game off the bench scoring 13 points. The team was without Jarrid Famous who did not make the trip due to back issues.

The Bulls return home to take on #17 Syracuse who is fresh off of a win over #7 UCONN. The game will be Saturday in the St. Pete Times Forum which should make for an incredible atmosphere for the game. The game could be ugly for the Bulls, but hopefully they can pull something together and make a game out of it.
