The 2010-2011 season just took another terrible turn as the USF Bulls lost another ugly game, this time in the St. Pete Times Forum, 72 to 49. The Bulls kept the game within somewhat of a reach in the first half, but after half time, the Orange opened up the game and made the lethargic, slow, and down right bad Bulls team look like they shouldn't have shown up.
Jarrid Famous had 14 points and 8 rebounds as he came back from back issues that kept him out of the Providence game. Fitzpatrick had 10 points and 6 rebounds as he continues his solid play off the bench and gives the Bulls some offense. Robertson had 8 points. Gilchrist had 4 points on a terrible night on both ends of the court. Poland had 8 points, but foul trouble kept his night short. Crater had 3 points and 4 turnovers as his season continues to fall apart late.
The season is just ugly at this point. The Bulls are 8-16 (2-9) and with home games this week against Marquette and Notre Dame, the ugly season may just get a bit uglier. It is hard to find anything positive from this game. The team is simply bad, they aren't good, and now the questions around Coach Heath and his position may begin to warm up (more on this later).
