We can't seem to get enough USF basketball news around here (not much happening on the football end at the moment at least). The Bulls announced today (via www.gousfbulls.com) that they will be taking part in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Tip-off Tournament.
The Bulls will travel to Uncasville, Connecticut on November 19th to face Old Dominion in the first round of the tournament (the Bulls will host Vermont and Marist before they travel for this tournament). After the Old Dominion game the Bulls will either play Kentucky (please not them) or Penn State on November 20th to end the tournament.
Several games will be on ESPN, but it has not been decided which games will be on television (probably not the Bulls unless something amazing happens for the squad).
Here is the rest of the tournament schedule (from gousfbulls.com)

This should be a great early test for USF. Old Dominion always has a strong team and facing either Penn State or Kentucky will be a great way to see where this team will stand during the season. Crater should be back on the court by then, but in limited action and the new USF big men, along with Anderson and Gilchrist (maybe) should be able to make some noise during the tournament, whether it is positive or negative noise, that may be too early to tell at this point.
