More 2012 Recruit Names

From Rivals.com - The 2012 recruiting process is always heating up and the names and rumors out there never stop for high school prospects. After the Badger Sport 7 on 7 competition held on USF campus last week, a few more times are now out there and the Bulls are interested in several more players.

Tight end Sean Price is a name that is starting to get a lot of attention. Price (6'4" 206-pounds) is a big time prospect out of Citra, Florida (North Marion High School). Price runs the 40-yard dash in 4.86 seconds, 4.57 in the shuttle, and has a 28' vertical. Price could be a wide receiver, but he has a huge frame and could be a big time pass catching tight end at the college level. Big programs like Alabama, Michigan, FSU, Boston college, Notre Dame, UNC, Florida, and others have already offered him, making it a tough competition for Holtz and staff.

Quarterback Bennie Coney (6'2" 210-pounds) is another fast rising start. The pro-style QB out of Plant City is starting to get a lot of attention. Coney runs a 4.82 in the 40-yard dash, runs the shuttle in 4.67, has a 25" vertical and can bench 280-pounds. Coney has a big time arm and can make all of the throws. He has the ability to scramble and move around the pocket, but prefers to pass, something Holtz loves. Auburn, FSU, Michigan, VT, are among some of the teams already recruiting him.

Running back Jamie Gilmore is another recruit that has been impressed early by the new facilities at USF. Gilmore 5'7" 160-pounds) is a small, but fast running back that could be a monster in space. He has offers from Rutgers, Duke, and Troy, and now USF. Hopefully he continues to stay impressed with USF and will eventually make a solid choice.
