Bulls Fire Back at BCU

After losing the first game on Thursday night in Daytona, the Bulls opened up the offense (a rare sight) and won a shoot-out against Bethune-Cookman, 11 to 9.

The Bulls scored 7 runs early but had to hold on for the win. Quackenbush got his 4th save of the season and the Bulls split the series in Daytona and now sit at 8-10. Sam Mende had a huge night and is hitting .366 now on the season.

The Bulls return to Tampa today to host BCU for two games, tonight at 7 PM and tomorrow at 1 PM. Randy Fontanez, the ace of the staff will take the mound as the Bulls hope they can win a key game and take the weekend series. Fontanez needs to have a solid outing due to the injuries on the USF pitching staff and the use of the bullpen over the past few nights means Prado has a limited group of pitchers and will need Fontanez to be at his best.
