Bulls Split Series with Bethune-Cookman

The Bulls got a nice 1-0 win victory today over Bethune-Cookman and split the season series 2-2. The Bulls are now 9-11 this year and are hoping to get above .500 this week.

Matt Reed got his first win of the season after pitching 8 strong innings. Reed had two jams during his outings, but was able to work out of it and got the win. Kevin Quackenbush got his 5th save of the season and continued to dominate in late game situations. The coaches didn't want Quack to pitch, but needing the win, Prado and company called upon Quack and he got the job done (unlike the offense, which once again took the day off).

The Bulls will travel to Ft. Myer's to take on Florida Gulf Coast before they host West Virginia on Friday night at 7 PM in Tampa. The Bulls are hoping to get the win over FGCU (game is at 6:30 PM) before they begin Big East play.
