The baseball team got a much needed win last night as they rallied from an early deficit to overtake the UCF Knights 6 to 5.
Matt Reed got the night started for the Bulls and pitched well, giving up just one homerun that put the Bulls down early. The offense was cold to start the game, but woke up late in the game with clutch pinch hitting. Jimmy Falla was 2 for 2 and drove in 4 runs. Jonathan Koscso was 4 for 5 as he continues to hit well. Sam Mende was 2 for 4 and is now hitting .355 on the season. Junior Carlin got the win for the Bulls (appeared to be injured at one point) and Kevin Quackenbush got the save (12 of his career). The Bulls are now 57 and 51 all time over UCF.
The Bulls now travel further up the interstate to take on Bethune-Cookman for a 4 game set, the first two games will be in Daytona, then the Bulls return home for the weekend matches. The Bulls take on BCU Thursday night at 6 PM, try to catch the game!
