The baseball team began Big East play last night and came out swining as the Bulls won a nice game over WVU, 8 to 4.
Randy Fontanez went 8 strong innings, striking out 6 and now has a record of 2-2. Quackenbush had a quick 9th inning to give the Bulls a 10-12 record and 1-0 in conference play.
Todd Brazeal broke out of an 0-22 slump going 3 for 4 and 2 homeruns, driving in 4 RBIs. Koscso had 2 hits and Luis Llerena was 2 for 3 as he continues to hit well.
The Bulls will be back in action tonight as they play WVU at 7 PM. Make sure to get out to the came and support the Bulls as they try to take this series and get back on the winning track.
