Bulls Hammered by WVU

After an impressive win over West Virginia the other night, WVU returned the favor to the Bulls, beating them 9 to 3.

Matt Reed (1-2) retired the first 7 batters he faced but was lite up after that, going only 4 innings while giving up 6 runs.

The offense once again failed to move baserunners despite getting 13 hits. The Bulls got plenty of chances on the bases, but failed to make clutch hits when they needed. Koscso went 3 for 5 and Jimmy Fall went 3 for 5 as well.

The Bulls are now 10-13 (1-1) and will take on WVU once again this afternoon at 1 PM in the series finale. The team really needs this win to take the series and to get a good start in Big East play. Make sure to come out and pack the stadium today as the Bulls try to get on track.
