Haynes to Transfer

Senior guard Shedrick Haynes is transferring.

From Greg Auman and Adam Adkins - The scholarship issue that Stan Heath was facing with his recruiting class is now over. Senior point guard Shedrick Haynes will be transferring out of USF.

First tweeted, then confirmed via facebook, then confirmed with Haynes, he will be leaving the program. The 6' 180-pound guard out of Lackawanna Community College in Pennsylvania never made in impact this season for Coach Heath. Haynes averaged just 1.1 points per game and had a .7 assists to turnover ratio, meaning he couldn't hang on to the basketball and saw only 6 minutes per game on average.

Haynes only has one year of eligibility left, meaning he will have to transfer to a Division two program in order to play this season. Good luck Mr. Haynes.

This now opens the door for recent verbal commit Anthony Collins. Collins will be able to join the Bulls on scholarship and gives Heath a new point guard that he may be able to teach to run the show for the future.
