USF Baseball and Softball Back Today

The weather has been a pain for the baseball team as they were washed out yesterday, but should be back on the field today as they take on Jacksonville University. The Bulls are 12-15 (3-3) and are hoping freshman Nick Gonzalez can get it done today at 4 PM (no make-up date for the game washed out yesterday has been announced yet). Gonzalez is just 2-2 and has had command issue this year, walking 19 hitters so far. He will have to command his pitches and hope for the offense to come to life behind him as the Bulls try to get a much needed win here as they battle to get back to .500.

The softball team is also in action today. The ladies are 22-15 (4-0) and are feeling great with the sweep of Syracuse last weekend. They hope they can continue the momentum today as they take on Bethune-Cookman (15-20). The first pitch is scheduled for 12:15 and the second game will begin at 2 PM. Good luck to both teams, bring home the victories.
