The USF baseball team, winners of 3 of the 4 past games, is hosting Big East foe Rutgers this weekend in a pivotal series that both teams are hoping to win.
USF beat Jacksonville University on Wednesday 9 to 4 and have been playing much better recently. The Bulls enter the weekend with a record of just 13-15 but 3-3 in conference play, hoping to improve that mark and get over .500 when they take on the fighting Snookis, Rutgers.
Rutgers is just 11-16 and are really not a great team. They won't find any luck either in game one with Randy Fontanez takes the mound. The ace of the Bulls staff has won his last 2 starts and his last 4 Big East starts, so the Snookis are going to have a hard time in this game and all weekend.
First pitch is scheduled for 7 PM tonight and 7 PM tomorrow. The series ends on Sunday with a 1 PM showdown.
Come out and support the Bulls in this great weekend series. The Bulls rank near the top of college baseball in attendance and need your support even more as they try to get over the .500 mark and get to the postseason.
