USF Gets Another PG Commit

Stan Heath is a busy man. The Bulls received another point guard commit for the class of 2012. Blake Nash, 6' 185-pounds, has verbally committed to the Bulls, giving the team two new point guards for the upcoming season (story from Greg Auman).

Nash, out of Williston State College in North Dakota, picked the Bulls over Oklahoma and Texas A & M, both of which are pretty good and established basketball programs.

Nash's coaches rave he is a great distributor and scorer, something the Bulls lack big time at the point guard position (Crater and Dority aren't scoring threats, let's be honest). Nash will have 3 years of eligibility when he comes to campus, much like JAWANZA Poland when he transferred in.

Shedrick Haynes is transferring from the program, which helps in the scholarship area. But that available scholarship is going to Anthony Collins, a prep star point guard that committed to the Bulls earlier. This means Heath is expecting someone else to leave the program to open up a spot on the roster for Nash.

There is no word yet on who will be leaving, but it could be Gilchrist to the NBA or someone else off the team. We will have to wait to find out what the team will do in the upcoming months.
