Green and Gold Day for USF

Today is a big day on campus for USF. Everyone needs to get on campus for all of the sporting events taking place.

USF softball, in the midst of a 7-game winning streak, is in action today as they take on Georgetown at 1 PM (game already underway) and again at 3. The ladies are 4-0 in conference play and continue to play at a high level. Head to the new softball/baseball stadium to watch them go for the sweep today.

At 5 PM, the football team takes to the soccer field for the first ever Green and Gold game. This is a rare chance to see the football team on campus and playing a full scrimmage against each other. Get your chance to see B.J. Daniels, Jerrell Young, and the rest of the stars as they prepare for the regular season opener against Notre Dame (less than 150 days now).

After that, at 7 PM, head back over to the baseball field to watch the Bulls, winning in dramatic fashion last night with a walk-off win over Rutgers in the 13th inning, take on the fighting Snookis again. The Bulls are 14-15 (4-3) and trying to climb back in the Big East standings. They need your support, so make it a full day, enjoy the new facilities on campus, and be proud to be a Bull.

For all of the latest news and audio for the games, go to www.gousfbulls.com for more details.

I will have a full recap of the Green and Gold game tomorrow and into the following week, like everyone should I will be at the games today!
