Bulls Land 5th Commitment of 2012

From Greg Auman - The Bulls landed their 6th commit of the 2012 season from tight end Josh Parris. The 6'3" 242-pound pass catching threat is a huge addition to the Bulls growing 2012 class.

Parris, out of Stone Mountain, Georgia (Stephenson High School) runs a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash and has a 26" vertical as well.

Parris fills an immediate need for the Bulls at the tight end position. With just Andreas Shields, Isaac Virgin, and incoming tight end Ty Turner (could move to FB too), the Bulls are in desperate need for a big playing making target at the tight end position.

Holtz has been busy recruiting across the state line, picking up a commitment from corner back DJ White recently as well. Holtz knows the area and local high schools due to his time at East Carolina and the relationships he built in the South.

This is a huge pick up for the Bulls as now they seem to have a dedicated tight end that wants to play at USF no matter what changes in the recruiting world before National Signing Day.

Check out some of Parris's game footage. He is a big body player that has reliable hands and surprising agility for a player his size. He lined up some at wide receiver last season, so he can get downfield and make plays and get extra yardage. He is a big time player:
