USF Finalizes Plans for Vero Beach

The Bulls will head to Vero Beach on August 3rd (Picture: www.tampabay.com)
USF Fall practices (reported yesterday by ESPN Big Eastblog) will begin August 3rd when all players must report and the team will begin practicing and preparing for the highly anticipated season on August 7th in Vero Beach (will practice for 3 days in Tampa, thanks to Greg Auman for this information).

The Bulls announced several weeks ago that the team would be returning to Vero Beach for the 2nd straight season for their Fall football camp.

The total price for the camp (reported by Adam Adkins yesterday) is $253,110 which includes the lodging, meals, and the cost to use the facilities. This is a relatively low cost for a football camp, considering the number of players and staff on the roster, the food alone could bankrupt some places.

The move to Vero Beach is a highly supported move for the Bulls and by the fans. It allows the team to get away from all distractions, bond, learn more about each other, and become a better team. Now the clock begins until August 3rd when the team hits the field again and the anticipation for the 2011 season grows even more.

(Only 80 days away now!)
