USF Lands 5th Commitment of 2012

As the Super Bull approaches this weekend, the Bulls will be getting a lot of top prospects visiting campus and talking with coaches, but one player has decided to make his verbal commitment to the Bulls ahead of time.

4-star tight end prospect Sean Price, the talented pass catcher out of Citra, Florida (North Marion High School) rated the 5th best tight end prospect in the country (according to Rivals.com) is the Bulls 5th commitment for the class of 2012.

Price is a big time pass catching weapon downfield. He measures in at 6'4" 206-pounds, has a 4.86 time in the 40-yard dash, a 4.57 time in the shuttle run, and has a 28" vertical (got to love the numbers on a big, fast catching tight end).

Price (from Greg Auman) has stated he felt at home with the players and coaches, making it comfortable on campus and making it easier for him to commit to USF.

USF was battling with a ton of top programs for Price's services. Programs such like Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, UF, FSU, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and South Carolina all had offered, but USF won over all of them. Now nothing is official until he signs in February, but for now, welcome to the family Price!

The Bulls are going to have a small recruiting class for 2012 due to the number of young players on the roster and the number of few seniors leaving the team, but it will be a stud class and Price is the highlight now.

Price is a big, physical receiver that can battle for the ball and get down field easily, making it hard for defensive backs to cover him and nearly impossible for a linebacker to get him down. He can lineup at wide receiver and will give the Bulls a weapon they haven't had recently, a pure passing catching tight end.
