Daniels Tweaks Hamstring at Practice

It appears Daniels tweaked his hamstring at practice today, although it appears to be very minor.

From Greg Auman and Adam Adkins - This is just a quick update on the Bulls at camp in Vero Beach (We will have the full post practice updates tonight when they finish their first two-a-day).

Junior quarterback B.J. Daniels went down with an apparent left hamstring injury. He was running towards the sideline when he went down awkwardly. He was attended to and has his hamstring iced down. Quarterback coach Peter Vaas stated the injury was minor (according to Adkins). Daniels was able to leave the field, but is still favoring the leg as he walks around the sidelines.

While information is limited and the press does not have full access to Holtz today for questions, it would appear to be a mild strain of his hamstring(fingers crossed). It is highly unlikely that Daniels plays tonight unless he is able to stretch the leg muscle out and the injury does not become a lingering issue. Hopefully we will have more later on this mild injury (all injuries are serious business).

Bobby Eveld will get the majority of the snaps now with freshman Matt Floyd working with the second team.
