Miami DE Commit Visiting USF

From Josh Newberg (247 Sports) - With all the trouble looming for Miami, it is only natural that 2012 commitments who are not signed to the program might be looking at other options (why not). The first player to begin looking elsewhere has decided to pay USF for an official visit.

4-star defensive end Trent Taylor (6-3 245-pounds) out of Lakeland, Florida (Lake Gibson High School) stated that he will be taking an official visit to USF soon and might get an offer from the Bulls (very limited on available scholarships right now for the 2012 class).

Taylor is a very explosive pass rusher and has the frame to add more weight and help dominate the run game as well as make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. Taylor has only one other offer in hand, from Louisville, so it will be interesting to see how his recruiting goes now that he is looking else where from Miami.

Check out some footage for Taylor. He is a wrecking force and simply takes the ball carrier down. He could be a nice addition if the Bulls want him and have the scholarship slot open for him.
