Notes From USF Practice - Day 9

Demi Thompson appears to have hurt his back in practice the other day.
From Greg Auman and Adam Adkins - The Vero Camp continues as the Bulls prepare for a big scrimmage tomorrow afternoon (open to the public). Practice was warm yesterday for the Bulls who were practicing in shorts, but will wear pads today as the coaches get a great evaluation of the team so far. The Bulls had their Bull Olympics, something to have a little fun and the players even switched jerseys just to confuse the reporters.

Defensive tackle didn't practice and was out of yesterdays practice as well. There is no word on what his injury is at this point. Safety C.J. Garye was also out of practice today (undisclosed) as well as fullback Armando Sanchez (hand). Reserve linebacker Kalin Hall was also out with his left knee taped up and on crutches.

The Bulls lost wide receiver Faron Hornes from the program and it appears he is no longer at USF in general.

Defensive tackle Demi Thompson left the practice and had ice on his back after getting roughed up. This is not a good sign as Thompson has been playing very well for the Bulls and will be a key member this season on a thin defensive line. He will miss scrimmage today, but hopefully be healthy for the start of the season.
