Reason to Worry About Pitt Game

There is reason to worry about the game tonight, but there is good reason for it.

USF has the momentum heading into the Pitt game tonight, but from talking to fans and listening to their confidence level, there is a lot of apprehension as the Bulls take the field for this game.

Thursday nights have not been too kind to the Bulls over their history, 0-6 to be exact, and with an undefeated record, a national ranking and an opponent that is hungry for a win and a big statement game, there is good reason to be worried. USF has also not won in Pittsburgh in a long time, so something else to keep in mind.

Pitt is a good team, not much debate there (except in the 4th quarter). They are playing at home and with ESPN coming to town, they are going to have a full house (as full as they can get Heinz Field on a Thursday night). They will come at USF fast and hard and have the weapon in the backfield to do it.

USF is concerned about running back Ray Graham, the "elusive" big weapon in the Panthers backfield. He has 100 carries already this season for 507 yards and 6 touchdowns. He is quick, changes direction fast, and can break ankles in the open field, so something USF has to shut down all game long.

USF has given up yards this season. ND and Cierre Wood had a big game (minus the turnovers) so Graham and the spread offense will pose a real problem for the Bulls. USF has the speed to contend with the Panthers, but one mistake, one missed tackle, could give them life and put points on the board.

This is going to be a close game and will probably have plenty of people yelling at their TVs and pulling their hair out (I will be at least). USF is only favored by 3 points right now, so it seems even Vegas knows the USF history and can see how the game will be very close. So tune in and keep your fingers crossed in this game.
