USF Injury Updates

Safety Tyson Butler strained his hamstring, doubtful for Saturday. (Picture: www.gousfbulls.com)
From Greg Auman - Safety Tyson Butler is the newest member to join the short list of aches and pains for the Bulls. Butler missed practice yesterday with a hamstring strain, making it possible he could miss the game on Saturday as a key reserve.

Holtz has a policy that players that do not practice on Wednesday and Thursday will not play on Saturday, so it would appear that Butler will sit and rest up this weekend.

This means that senior cornerback Quenton Washington who sat out yesterday, would have to practice today in order to get on the field (knee injury). He probably won't practice and will most likely miss the game so he can rest to get ready for the start of Big East play.

Cornerback JaQuez Jenkins did return today so he will be ready to go on Saturday. Demi Thompson has returned as well along with Joel Miller who play last week.
