USF Ladies Drop Game 1 to 2 to WVU

It was a rough night for the USF ladies as they battled with WVU into double overtime before losing the game to a penalty kick on a questionable foul call on the Bulls.

The Bulls, 4-3-1 (0-1-0) got on the board first with a goal by Chelsea Klotz in the 61st minute after a quiet first half where both teams held each other in check. In the 80th minute, WVU struck back with a goal by Bri Rodriguez to even the game up and send it into overtime (led to double overtime). In the 105th minute, on the penalty kick, Blake Miller got the goal to get the win for the Mountaineers and send the Bulls to a rough loss.

The Bulls gave everything they had in this game and one bad goal was the deciding factor. Kelly Campbell, Molly Stack, Valerie O'Brien, and Boo Eagle played the entire game for the Bulls, leaving everything on the field. Nicole McClure made 6 stops on the night, but couldn't come up with the last one on the night.

The ladies will have to regroup as the head to Pitt on Sunday (1PM) to take on the Panthers in the second Big East game of the season.
