| Dom Dwyer return home after a rough weekend last week. |
The face SLU who is giving up 2.50 goals per game, so the offense should have some success, but USF will have to be careful. SLU already knocked off #10 Notre Dame and will be looking for another upset at the Bulls home (game starts at 7:30 PM).
SLU is led by freshman midfielder Raymond Lee (5-10 170-pounds) who leads the way with 2 goals and 1 assist on the season. Senior midfielder Alex Johnston (5-10 170-pounds) has 1 goal on the year (not a lot of scoring for them).
Sophomore forward Adnan Gabeljic (6-3 190-pounds) has 1 goal so far. Freshman midfielder William Hildago (5-7 145-pounds) has 1 assist. Freshman midfielder Kingsley Bryce (5-10 170-pounds) has taken 7 shots (young player not afraid to fire away). Freshman forward Robbie Kristo (6-4 200-pounds) has taken 3 shots as well.
SLU has some issues in goal to start the season. Junior Mark Pais (6-4 200-pounds) has allowed 9 goals on the season, making 18 saves (.667 percentage) but is 0-3. Sophomore Nick Shackelford (6-0 180-pounds) has allowed just one goal and has made 8 saves (.833 percentage) getting the upset win over ND.
USF should be able to attack during this game. Dom Dwyer has been on fire all season and should not slow down with the issues they have in net for SLU. If the backline for USF can hold up and Blais has a better game than his last few outings, USF should come away with a solid win here.
