The ladies are playing a huge game tonight and need everyone to pack the stadium! (Picture: www.gousfbulls.com)
The USF Bulls, 4-3-2 (0-1-1) host Notre Dame tonight at 7 PM (game will be shown on Fox Soccer Channel in front of a national audience, big time).

Notre Dame is the defending national champion and will be a huge test for the Bulls who are coming off of a hard fought tie game with Pitt on Sunday night.

Notre Dame, 4-4-1 (1-2-1) is coming off of a big 4 to 1 win over Big East foe Cincinnati and will be looking for another big win on the road. After a solid start to the season, the Bulls have not been able to notch a win recently and are looking to make a huge statement with this opportunity in front of them.

The Irish are led by senior forward Melissa Henderson (5-8) who leads the team with 10 goals on the season (43 shots) and has added 3 assists as well. She is the primary striker for the Irish and will be a key factor to shut down for the USF backline (Molly Stack and company).

Senior forward Adriana Leon (5-3) has 4 goals and 1 assist on the season. Sophomore midfielder Mandy Laddish (5-7) has 1 goal and 5 assists (main set up player, facilitates to everyone on the field). Sophomore defender/midfielder Rebecca Twining has one goal and one assist (taken 18 shots on the season). Sophomore midfielder Elizabeth Tucker has 3 assists on the season and has taken 17 shots as well.

The Irish have some issues in the net. They have used two goalies so far, so USF could exploit the inconsistency here. freshman Sarah Voigt (5-10) has allowed 9 goals on the season (1.97 goals per game) and has made just 11 saves (.550%). She has a record of 2-3-0 so far, not the best mark for the defending champions. Junior Maddie Fox (5-8) has taken over and allowed just 3 goals (.64 goals per game). She has stopped 19 shots, (.864%) and had a 2-1-1 record (one shut out win).

With questions, the Bulls should be able to score against Notre Dame. The real question is can the defense and Nicole McClure in net stop the aggressive Irish attack? This is going to be a big game for the ladies and everyone should get to Corbett Stadium and fill it up, make it loud!!
