USF Volleyball Drops Game to Marquette

The lady Bulls after a big win at Syracuse left their momentum on the plane as they lose the match in 4 sets to Marquette to drop to 5-9 (1-1) on the season.

The Bulls had a big showing by J'beria Davis who had 17 kills and 10 digs on the afternoon. Valerie El Houssine had 8 kills, 2 digs, and 2 block assists as the Eagles were able to take her out of the match. Shelbie Dailey had 39 assists on the afternoon. Janice Rivera had 21 digs to lead the team.

While the match is a rough loss, coming away 1-1 after a long weekend is a positive to take away from the start of the Big East schedule. The Bulls looked very strong in their game against Syracuse and showed plenty of fight in the game today.

The Bulls will finally return home for a long home stand with Rutgers coming in on Saturday afternoon at 12 noon. Hopefully by returning home for the Bulls, they will be able to get it together and get a couple a few wins as they continue the Big East portion of the schedule.
