UCONN at Pitt
Matt: UCONN can't score anything, but can stop running attacks. Pitt is playing like a JV football team out there and can't find anything out of the quarterback position (Sunseri stinks). I want to pick Pitt at home, but will have to give the edge to the Huskies in this game, but not confident at all. Pick: UCONN
Jim: Oh wow... this is the game where quite a few WVU fans plan to "Occupy Heinz Field", starting off with $1 tickets. But, anyway, there's supposed to a game with a supposedly "High Octane" offense, but Pitt has been anything but. Had to flip a coin to determine my pick. Pick: UCONN
Mike: The juggernaut matchup we've all been waiting for...two teams that absolutely no one can figure out. I hope to see more WVU fans than Pitt or UConn fans at the stadium, but they'll be disappointed to see a Pitt victory here.
Syracuse at Louisville
Matt: Syracuse ripped WVU last weekend, a very surprising game. The Cardinals beat Rutgers in an ugly game, so they have a little confidence going into this game. I will give the edge to the Orange here because they have a little more firepower on offense. Pick: Syracuse
Jim: Syracuse is going to come out motivated and riding the wave of their recent win against WVU. Yes, Louisville beat Rutgers, but they're not going to beat Syracuse. Pick: Syracuse
Mike: Syracuse is peaking, and it probably won't last long, but I think they've got one more big win in them. SU obliterated West Virginia in the Carrier Dome last weekend, but I don't see as much scoring this time. The Orange will win, but not by more than 14.
WVU at Rutgers
Matt: Jim, what the hell happened last weekend? WVU is not suppose to lose games like that, but then again, neither is USF. WVU has the speed and firepower needed to win this game, but I am expecting a battle from the Snookis as they rally at home, only to lose. Pick: WVU
Mike: West Virginia is absolutely not losing two scrub games in a row. Rutgers struggled against a poorly-performing Louisville team last week, despite their 5-1 start. RU is at home, but that's about the only thing they'll have going for them. I'm just glad USF doesn't play this weekend. West Virginia has a huge rebound victory, winning by at least four touchdowns.
