Another week is in the books for the Big East. Let's see how we did with our picks from this week. With only 4 games on the schedule, there is little room for error in our selections, let's see the results.
Utah over Pitt
The Utes have had a bad season, but Pitt laid an egg in this game. Tino Sunseri got pulled, Ray Graham had no where to go, and the only two touchdowns for Pitt came from a kick and a punt return. Credit goes to the Utes in this game. Jim gets the much needed win here while Mike and I drop this game.
Matt: 31-11
Mike: 34-8
Jim: 30-12
Cincinnati over Louisville
It wasn't a pretty game, but Cincinnati was able to take care of business and got the win as they continue to have a solid season. The game was close, showing either the Cincinnati offense can be slowed down or that the Cardinal defense is pretty good. We all get the win here.
Matt: 32-11
Mike: 35-8
Jim: 31-12
Rutgers over Navy
Talk about an ugly game here. Rutgers is now 5-1 on the season after they were able to win the game by just a point. If Nova can play well at quarterback and Sanu continues to do everything, they will be battling for the head spot in the Big East, go fighting Snookis. Mike and I get a win here while Jim slips.
Matt: 33-11
Mike: 36-8
Jim: 31-13
UCONN over USF
Mentally still can't figure this game out. Why didn't USF pass the ball? Daniels took a step back last night and I feel that Fitch is a reason for most of it. This game hurts, really hurts. We all take a loss here as well.
Mat: 33-12
Mike: 36-9
Jim: 31-14
So Mike continues to lead the way, I sit in second, two games over Jim. With only three games next weekend in the Big East schedule, it will be tough to gain any ground.
