The USF front court will have plenty of experience this season and one of the key players will be senior Ron Anderson Jr. The former Kansas State transfer made a solid impact last season and will continue to rebound and anchor the paint this season.
Ron Anderson Jr. - 6-8 255-pounds - Senior - Forward
Anderson made 18 starts in 2010, coming off the bench in other games. He averaged 7 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. He also had double digit rebound performances in 8 games on the year, showing his physical style of play and ability to work off the glass well.
Anderson is a solid player, hitting the boards and playing well around the rim. He is not a threat to take deep shots, but works well to the basket and always seems to come up with key rebounds. He is an emotional leader, firing up the teammates and cheering them on (high energy player). He plays a key part on this team and will have to come up big this season for Heath due to the lack of depth on the front line.
