Rush Through the Roster: Shaun Noriega

The series roles on as we count down the roster, this time we take a look at sharp shooter Shaun Noriega. Noriega had a huge season, raining down threes all season and improving his overall game. Coach Heath has stated he has made the biggest leap this off season and could be ready for a big year.

Shaun Noriega - 6'4" 195-pounds - Guard - Junior

Noriega emerged last season as the best long range shooter for the Bulls. He averaged 6.4 points per game and .9 rebounds per game. He started 10 games out of 33 last year, playing a huge role off the bench, adding offense when Heath needed it the most.

Noriega shot .376 from 3-point range, best on the team, and shot .413 during Big East play, raising his level of accuracy when the games counted most. He also shot .805 from the free throw line, making the points when needed. He is an average ball handler and plays well on defense, not having the most elite speed, but plays smart and puts himself in the best situation.

He will have to improve his inside game a bit and ability to get his own shot, but his three point shooting makes him a dangerous weapon on the perimeter.
