USF Injury Updates

From Greg Auman - The USF football team has a few injuries to note as they head into the weekend matchup with Cincinnati. Tight end Isaac Virgin (shoulder), fullback Chris Breit (shoulder), and wide receiver Stephen Bravo-Brown (ankle) are all questionable for the game. Virgin has played sparingly, so Landi and Shields will continue to get the snaps. Breit has done a solid job on special teams and Bravo-Brown has been a solid receiver when thrown to. USF has the depth needed to cover these positions while they nurse injuries. Wide receiver Terrence Mitchell is still going through testing after his concussion, but may be able to return to the field this weekend (fingers crossed).

Coach Heather also stated that guard Jawanza Poland's back injury is a bit more severe than they originally thought. He could be out until December, more than the estimated 4-6 week time frame we heard last week. This does hurt the depth rotation off the bench for the Bulls, but they have enough talent to fill in for him, but the fans may miss screaming his name more.
